How to Issue the PayProtocol Card
To issue a PayProtocol Mastercard through the PayProtocol App, please follow the steps below in order.
🔹Step 1. Issue NFT (Start of Card Application)
To begin the card issuance process, you must first obtain a PayProtocol NFT. This NFT serves as proof of your eligibility to issue a digital card.
A certain amount of PCI is required to issue the NFT.
The NFT issuance fee may vary depending on the time of issuance and can be checked in real-time within the app.

🔹Step 2. Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
Once the NFT has been issued, you will proceed with the Fiat24 KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This step is mandatory to comply with financial regulations.
A valid passport with an embedded IC chip is required.
You must install the ReadID Ready app.
✅ Download the ReadID Ready app:

🔹Step 3. Initial Top-Up to Activate the Card
Once your KYC is approved, your card will be issued. To activate it, you must top up a minimum of 15 USD worth of PCI (in CHF/EUR depending on your KYC country).
💡 This amount is not a fee — it is your own funds, which can be used for actual card payments.
The top-up is made in PCI, and the amount is automatically calculated based on real-time exchange rates in the app.
Once the top-up is complete, go to the Card menu and tap Detail to proceed to the Activate Card screen.
