How to Create a Wallet
Creating your PayProtocol wallet is the first step to accessing your PayProtocol Card and managing PCI securely.
🔹 Step 1: Launch the App
Open the PayProtocol app and tap "Create Wallet" on the start screen.
Step 1 - Tap "Creat Wallet"
🔹 Step 2: Set a Login Password
Create a secure password for app access.
It must include:
At least 1 lowercase character
At least 1 special character
8–50 characters in length
You can also enable Biometric Authentication (Face ID or Fingerprint) for quicker login.
🔹 Step 3: Backup Your Wallet
You’ll be shown a Secret Recovery Phrase. This 12-word phrase gives full access to your wallet, so save it safely.
Choose between:
To Cloud: Encrypted automatic backup
Manually: Write it down and store offline
🔹 Step 4: Confirm Recovery Phrase
To verify that you've saved your phrase correctly, re-enter the words in the correct order.
Once confirmed, your wallet is created and ready to use.
If the recovery phrase is entered incorrectly, you’ll be asked to try again
Never share your recovery phrase with anyone.
PayProtocol cannot restore your wallet if you lose the phrase.
